This semi detached villa, with its own pool, is strategically positioned on a hillside near Foz de Arelho, with views over the Óbidos Lagoon towards the sea. Within walking distance (approx. 1300 m) to an unspoilt long sandy beach, this villa offers spacious living accommodation ideal for larger parties. Many bars and restaurants, as well as minimarket, can be found within 5 walking minutes. Horse riding within walking distance. The town of Caldas da Rainha is a 10 minute drive away. Óbidos, a delightful old town of white houses adorned with bougainvilleas, is about 15 kilometres away. The historic towns of Alcobaça and Batalha are also an easy drive away. Praia del Rey golf course, approx. 25 Km distant, is ranked no. 1 in Portugal by Peugeot's 2003 Guide and 13th best in Europe by Golf World. Lisbon airport is 95 Km distant.
The three storey villa is tastefully decorated to a high standard and is elegantly furnished. Equipped with central heating, the dining and living room are open plan with French windows leading out into the terrace ideal for alfresco dining.

First floor
Spacious living / dining room with table seating up to 8 persons, comfortable seating, satellite TV, DVD player and open fireplace. French windows opening onto the pool terrace. Double bedroom and adjacent shower room. Fully fitted modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, etc.
Second floor
Master double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Doors opening onto a private balcony with views to the Obidos Lagoon. Double bedroom and adjacent bathroom with jacuzzi. Double bedroom with doors leading onto a private balcony.
Each bedroom has two single beds zipped together. However they can be opened to form a twin room if preferable. Please request your room disposal at the time of booking.
Exterior
Spacious terrace with table and chairs ideal for alfresco dining. Built-in barbecue. The private swimming pool is 6 metres long and 4 metres wide. The depth is from 0.90 to 1.50 metres (safety gate for children).
Changeover day: Saturday.
Breakage deposit on arrival: EUR 450.

Near the Lagoon of Óbidos, the Foz do Arelho beach is a place where nature offer us exceptional therapeutic qualities and an extensive strand. Surfers usually choose this beach.
In the small quay, you can buy all the various specimens that the Lagoon has to offer, such as: sort of mussel and cockle. Fine esplanades and restaurants by the beach and visitors can appreciate different fish dishes like fried eels, cockles and the famous “Lagoon fish stew”.
