The cottage comprises 2 bedrooms (1 double with en suite bathroom, 1 twin with a baby cot), 1 shower room, fully equipped kitchen and living room with satellite TV, open fireplace and dining area. Outside, there is a terrace of approx. 50m2 with BBQ, pool shower and salt water swimming pool (7x4 m), as well as an area with private parking and lawn with ± 40 m2.

For those of you who are staying in the somewhat hectic resort of Albufeira, Praia da Galé offers a welcome respite. Located to the west of Albufeira, the beach runs around the bay of Armação de Pera to a quiet, unassuming town that boasts just a few cafes and restaurants and a supermarket. The beach itself is easily accessible. There are no cliffs and steep steps to negotiate just the occasional ramp to help you across the dunes. This five kilometre stretch of sand is served by a handful of excellent beachside restaurants and a pleasant bar. One of the Algarve’s most exclusive hotels, the small, Moorish Estalagem Vila Joya, sits right above the beach and the town is home to two campsites - the perfect setting for a completely relaxing break. Hire a sunlounger, explore the fossil laden rocks or bathe in water that reaches 18 degrees in high summer and is patrolled by lifeguards. And when you’ve had enough of all that it’s just a short taxi ride back to the bright lights of Albufeira…
