Beautiful, typical and traditional 1920's restored Southern Portuguese farmhouse set on very large and quiet piece of land less than 10 walking minutes to the beaches Praia do Vau and Praia do Alemão, where you will find first the blue sea and its gently lapping waves, then the golden sands framed by cliffs and rocks. Restaurants, coffee shops and grocery store can be found within 1 km from the house. The villa is located about 4 km from the town of Portimão, 2 km from the fisherman village of Alvor with bars, restaurants where you can enjoy a delightful sea food or fresh fish meal and 1 km from Praia da Rocha with its exciting and busy night live. The Alto Golf course is only 5 minutes walk from the house. It is 70 km to Faro airport.
The villa as a spacious and comfortable living room with fireplace, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (3 of which are ensuite) , large dining room with table for 10 persons, and fully equipped kitchen. Outside there is a very large terrace as well as a charming shaded BBQ area near the swimming pool. The area surrounding the swimming pool and the patio is tiled. The garden furniture includes sun loungers and sun umbrellas. Swimming pool dimensions are 18 by 6 meters.

Located on the western side of Praia da Rocha and Portimão, Praia do Vau is one of the western Algarve’s most popular beaches. Traditionally, Vau was the beach of choice for wealthy Portuguese families that spent their summers in the Algarve. Today, it is popular with visitors and residents alike.
Access to the beach is direct and easy. There are sunbeds and shades for hire and some water sports available. The beach is serviced by a selection of restaurants serving snacks and meals all day long. Praia do Vau is popular with families as the water is calm and the quality excellent.
The beach can become very crowded during high season, particularly at high tide. But even that does not detract from its beauty. From the main stretch of Praia do Vau beach you can walk towards the East (at low tide) all the way to Praia da Rocha. Towards the west you have the beach Praia do Alemão and many rock pools and coves to explore. In fact, you can walk from the beach onto the cliffs tops and all the way to Prainha and Praia de Alvor.
