We have been renting a lot of apartments and villas abroad and by experience you get "a noose" for what is bad and what is good, and this was definitely the second option. The first contact by phone when we arrived at the airport confirmed that feeling. Marco Ferreira must be one of the world's most welcoming persons! It was easy to find the apartment from his directions and when we stepped into the apartment we were overwhelmed by the tasteful decorations and beautiful furniture and every thing else in the apartment is so nice too!
He really has a personal touch that you seldom see in similar holiday properties. Small details add big value. And even if you have seen the pictures on the internet, the "real thing" is even better. The biggest surprise was the bathroom, the picture in the internet did not quite give justice to how luxurious in fact it is.
We are writing this after we have stayed almost a week in the apartment, and the first impression lasts......Altogether we have had a very relaxing holiday with a lot of good food, lovely views and staying in a beautiful and comfortable apartment owned by a caring host. What more can you ask for? Perhaps an other week's stay.......
