This traditional property has the unenviable position right by the sea on the north coast of Madeira, ideal for surfers, bathers, walkers etc. Located near the village of Seixal (near São Vicente), it is not far from the natural rock pools of Porto Moniz. Restaurant, coffee shop and grocery store are within walking distance. Surfers congregate here in large numbers to ride the waves. Levada walkers have the choice of a different walk each day. It is 30 km from Funchal and 40 km from the airport.
Enjoying a magnificent sea view, this detached house has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom (1 double bed) has a small balcony for that morning cup of tea or evening aperitif, the second bedroom is set out for three people (2 single beds, 1 sofa bed) with views right to the sea just a stone’s throw away. There is a large open plan kitchen leading to the fantastic BBQ area and laundry, perfect for outdoor living. The living/dining area opens onto the large garden and terrace which run right down to the sea front promenade. It is laid out in traditional rustic style. There are sofa beds in the lounge for visitors’ convenience. There is a large outdoor BBQ area in the sheltered are at the rear of the property ideal for outdoor entertaining.

Seixal is a pretty little town on the north coast and there is a small dark sand beach call Praia da Laje here which also has two natural swimming pools, in the same area is the dark sand Jamaica’s Beach.
Nearby São Vicente and Ponta Delgada, again in the north, are popular with windsurfers and there are other water based sports facilities in this area, this popularity has led to swimming and sunbathing facilities being added at Ponta Delgada and the breakwater there has resulted in a beach in the small bay.
