Located in the village of Carralcova, 13 km from Arcos de Valdevez, close to the National Park Peneda-Gerês. This is a small and quiet hamlet in a mountain area, with only one access road. Local economy is based on farming and cattle breeding. It is an ideal location for relaxation. Coffe shops and restaurants can be found in 6 km, a supermarket is 15 km distant. 2 km away there is a small grocery store, and it is 10 km to the National Park Peneda-Gerês.

Built in granite which is the typical style in this region, this house was recently renovated and offers all modern amenities, such as air conditioning: it consists of two floors, with 3 bedrooms (one of them with en suite WC), 1 complete bathroom with shower, living room and dining room with open plan equipped kitchen. It is possible to install an extra bed either in the suite or in the attic floor.

Outside, one enjoys an unbelievable view, and there is another house for 2 persons within the same grounds, about 30 meters distant. Besides the extensive gardens, both houses share a barbecue with water and electricity, as well as a swimming pool with sun loungers. Private parking available.

Arcos de Valdevez
Inhabited since prehistoric times, as can be seen by the various archaeological finds on display at the Mezio Megalithic Centre, the town is situated in the valley of the River Vez and still retains much of the typical charm of the Alto Minho province - luxuriant green landscapes and the traditional architecture of its buildings, amongst which the most impressive are the manor houses.

The municipality of Arcos de Valdevez is located inside the boundaries of the Peneda Gerês National Park, where nature still conserves all of its original charm. Hidden within the region are many delightful communal villages, such as Soajo, where the local populations continue to maintain their ancestral customs and practices.
