This Quinta with agro-tourism facilities is located in a very rural area, surrounded by green areas in a very quiet environment within the Douro Region. Tucked away in the county of Armamar and boasting fantastic views over the Naçarães Valley, it is part of the Port Wine Route and of the Cister Vineyards. It is 20 km from the towns of Peso da Régua and also from Lamego, and 140 km from Porto airport. The River Douro is 12 km distant.
The Quinta boasts a main house with three floors. In the ground floor one finds a bar, games room with billiard and darts; in the first floor is located the reception, a lounge with an open fireplace and TV, and an excellent restaurant serving lunch and dinner, where you can taste the region cuisine and some of the best wines of the area; in the upper floor are the 2 guest rooms.
The Quinta has beautiful relaxing areas ideal for reading a book or for walking along the vineyards within the estate and its neighbourhood. Bicycles available in the Quinta.
Guests have also a magnificent swimming pool at their disposal. In the evening, the swimming pool gains a new life with the nearby bar always with soft music. Next to the swimming pool, there are a gym and a tennis court, as well as a Jacuzzi and sauna.
There are three different types of apartments available, consisting of 3 T0 type, 2 T1 type and 3 T2 type.
The T2 apartment consists of a living room with some sofas, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette, including a micro-wave, stove and refrigerator. There is a terrace in the front and a small patio in the back, both with some chairs and a small table. Perfect for a long stay for a larger family, sleeps 4-5 persons, buffet breakfast included.

Standing on the banks of the River Douro, which has always exerted such a distinctive influence on the surrounding landscape, the town of Armamar still has a peaceful feel to it. Here, in a region where farming is the predominant activity, wines of the finest quality are produced, together with some of the country's tastiest apples.
Armamar's Romanesque parish church, built in the thirteenth century, is a particularly impressive monument.
