Totally renovated by local craftsmen in 2007, this holiday studio apartment is located in Europe's most westerly village, Fajã Grande, on the island of Flores in the Azores. Within 300 m one finds coffee shop, restaurant and shops, while the beach of Fajã Grande is 900 m distant. It is 18 km from the harbour at Lajes da Flores and 21 km from the airport of Flores.

Inserted in an estate of 100 m2, and with a living area of 21 m2 combining living & sleeping areas, the studio comprises a double bed, living and dining room, kitchenette with 4 hot plates, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle, and veranda. Equipped with radio, internet access, heating and electric iron, the outside area consists of patio with sea view, garden furniture, barbecue and garden.

This is a non-smoking property.

Lying on the most westerly side of the group of islands Ilha das Flores is 17 kilometers long and 12.5 wide, with a population of 4.500 inhabitants. This charming but rugged island derives its name from the quantity of flowers that grow in abundance due to its high annual rainfall. It was only in the 16th Century that farmers from Europe accepted its climate and started cultivating the thick and luxuriant land. In he capital, Santa Cruz das Flores, there is a small museum devoted to the fishing industry and farming.

Access to this island can only be made by flight but it does have a summer boat connection with the nearby Ilha do Corvo.
There is a weekly car ferry service to Flores from the other islands in the Azores June through September.
