The estate comprises 8000 m2 divided by leisure piles, gardens with walking trails, barbecue, fruit trees, several tables distributed in several terraces, ideal for pick nicks. Also has natural ponds of running water cascading (private) and a silent beat. Within 500 m one finds a café, a restaurant and a minimarket can be found within 2 Km. There is a supermarket in 6 Km and a river with fluvial beach in 8 Km. It is 20 Km from Braga, 25 Km from Ponte de Lima and 30 Km from Guimarães. The Nature Park Peneda-Gerês is 20 minutes drive distant. This is also a region known all over the country for its unbeatable gastronomy.
The accommodation consists of an excellent wooden house equipped with air conditioning and wood stove, comprising 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 with bunk beds), 1 bathroom, living room with dining area and kitchenette, porch and patio.

Standing in the heart of an extremely fertile region, at the point where the River Homem flows into the River Cávado, Vila Verde offers visitors the chance to appreciate some of the most beautiful countryside in Portugal, in a bucolic setting that is ideal for hunting and fishing enthusiasts. In the summer, almost all of the villages have their own special religious festivities, attracting many visitors from outside and breathing even more life and colour into the region.
As far as the local handicraft is concerned, the region's most characteristic products are the "lenços de namorados" (lovers' handkerchiefs) made of linen or cotton and embroidered with a simple phrase expressing the great love and admiration felt by those offering them as a present.
