Large villa in Portimão, implanted in private grounds of 2300 m2, in a quiet rural environment with views of the Monchique mountains but still only 3 km from all facilities like shopping centre, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, cash dispenser, 4 km from Portimão city centre, 4,5 km from the sea and 6 km from the beaches. Within 300 meters from property one finds a horse riding centre, golf club in 2 km and the thermal spa of Monchique is 18 km distant.

Built in 2006 and implanted in a walled plot entered by a remote controlled gate, equipped with floor heating in every room, alarm and mosquito nets in the windows, the two storey villa comprises 6 bedrooms (2 doubles, 2 twins, 2 triples), two of them with ensuite bathroom, 2 complete bathrooms, 2 shower rooms, 1 guest WC, large lounge with settees, open fireplace, satellite TV, stereo and dining area seating 12 persons, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. In the upper floor there is a balcony and terrace with a magnificent view.

Ground floor designed for full access by guests in wheel chair.  One of the shower rooms in the ground floor is prepared to receive guests in wheel chair.

Outside, guests have a swimming pool (5x11 m)with steps and hand rail for persons with limited mobility, pool shower (hot and cold water), large terrace, lawn and garden surrounding the pool, 5 sun loungers, 4 long chairs, BBQ, porch (35 m2) with table seating 12 persons, private parking for 4 cars.

Price includes bed linen, bathroom towels and weekly maid service including linen and towels change.

The white contour of a church on a hilltop, the narrow streets of the old fishermen and tradesmen quarter, the presence of the sea and the immense beach known by the name of Praia da Rocha are some of the aspects that identify the character of this centenary city.

All that is left of medieval Portimão are a few stretches of the city walls now hidden by houses. The old town is dominated by the architecture of the late 19th and 20th centuries: houses on two storeys, with wrought iron balconies and ornate stonework around windows and doors, decorated with balustrades of stone and ceramics and walls covered with tiles.

To savour the spirit of Portimão, there is nothing better than to sit in the shade of the trees in the gardens Manuel Bívar and forget about time, to watch the fishing boats and to walk trough streets and squares that exude the ambience of an active, hard-working town which has succeeded in keeping pace with progress.

Praia da Rocha
Located by the mouth of the Arade river, Rocha Beach extends over a huge area of sand some 3 kilometres long irregularly broken up by odd rock formations that the sea has been carving out throughout tens of thousands of years.

Regularly the chosen location for Algarve tourism publicity photographs and highly publicised in international campaigns, this is now one of the most popular resorts in southern Portugal. This is further encouraged by the range of nightlife that even boasts its own Casino.

Bathed by a calm and warm sea that provides for risk-free swimming, Rocha Beach is also equipped with the facilities for a number of different sports including basketball, football, volleyball and aerobics.

Praia do Alvor
With its sands stretching on over the horizon, Alvor is a dream beach surrounded by high quality hotels and with every kind of support infrastructure including equipment for sailing, water skiing or windsurfing.

The origins of the picturesque Alvor fishing village date back to the times of the Moors when it was an important port. Although there is no built heritage from those times, the town’s historic centre is well worth a visit if only for the opportunity to admire the striking beauty of the Manueline style Matrix Church entranceway.
